A system for the controlled alignment and clamping of wagon frame components prior to welding.
Precise positioning before welding
The project called for a dedicated wagon frame assembly stand to align and hold components in the required position before welding.
The system had to provide repeatable positioning and control in both horizontal and vertical directions.
Hydraulic clamping in two directions
The cylinders position and hold the frame components under controlled force.
Horizontal clamping
Lateral alignment and clamping of components.
Vertical clamping
Positioning the components vertically.
Selective actuation
Individual, group or simultaneous control.
Pressure maintenance
Automatic compensation when pressure drops.
Local and remote operation
The system allows operators to set and monitor pressure and to retract the cylinder rods from controls located near the clamping devices.
